Join us on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Pedrotti’s Ranch – Shooting Star in Helotes, Texas, for an evening of honor, remembrance, and support. This formal dinner will bring together Special Forces veterans, families, community leaders, and supporters from across Texas to celebrate Texas Special Forces Day and fuel the mission of Flat, Dumb & Happy.

​About Special Forces Day in Texas

In 2023, the State of Texas officially designated June 28 as Special Forces Day, a recognition day honoring the men and women who have served in the United States special operations forces. Through House Bill 2499 and the addition of Texas Government Code §662.087, the Texas Legislature called for this day to be “regularly observed by appropriate ceremonies and activities” to commemorate their courage, sacrifice, and continued service.

Texas Special Forces Day is not just a date on the calendar. It is an opportunity for communities across the state to pause, remember, and publicly acknowledge the quiet professionals who have carried some of the heaviest burdens in defense of our nation.

Texas has a deep connection to Special Operations. Across our state, Special Forces soldiers and special operations units have trained, deployed, and returned home through Texas.​

Evening Program

  • 4:00 p.m. – Guest arrival/Registration & No Host Social

  • 5:00 p.m. – Opening remarks & presentation of colors

  • 5:30 p.m. – Seated dinner service

  • 7:00 p.m. – Program: Honoring Texas Special Forces, keynote remarks, and recognition

  • 7:30 p.m. – Auction / additional presentations

  • 8:30 p.m. – Last call at the bar

  • 9:00 p.m. – Event concludes
