HONORING TEXAS SPECIAL FORCES
& Supporting Our Veterans & First Responders
Join us on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Pedrotti’s Ranch – Shooting Star in Helotes, Texas, for an evening of honor, remembrance, and support. This formal dinner will bring together Special Forces veterans, families, community leaders, and supporters from across Texas to celebrate Texas Special Forces Day and fuel the mission of Flat, Dumb & Happy.

About Special Forces Day in Texas
In 2023, the State of Texas officially designated June 28 as Special Forces Day, a recognition day honoring the men and women who have served in the United States special operations forces. Through House Bill 2499 and the addition of Texas Government Code §662.087, the Texas Legislature called for this day to be “regularly observed by appropriate ceremonies and activities” to commemorate their courage, sacrifice, and continued service.
Texas Special Forces Day is not just a date on the calendar. It is an opportunity for communities across the state to pause, remember, and publicly acknowledge the quiet professionals who have carried some of the heaviest burdens in defense of our nation.

Special Forces in Texas
Texas has a deep connection to Special Operations. Across our state, Special Forces soldiers and special operations units have trained, deployed, and returned home through Texas.

On June 28, we come together to honor all who have served in Special Operations—past, present, and those we remember in memorial:

US Naval Special Warfare Command

United States Marine Forces Special Operations Command

US Army Special Forces

Air Force Special Operations Command
